Throughout the year, Volunteer South West implements various training opportunities for volunteers, coordinators of volunteers and the Not For Profit sector. Our training program the Volunteer Active Support Program (VAST), allows us to take training to volunteers in their own towns across the Bunbury Geographe region.

Volunteer Manager network sessions and workshops give managers a chance to acquaint themselves with changes in the Community Services Sector and liaise with other organisations.

Volunteer South West also runs several big events each year for ‘Thank A Volunteer Day’, December 5 annually, and National Volunteer Week which is held in May- to appreciate and recognise the effort volunteers contribute to our communities and to support raising the profile of volunteering in Australia.
